Pajammy-jams

In life it is important to have choices.  Little kids need to know that their opinion matters, so we try to let our children have opportunities to voice theirs.  Do you want peas or corn?  Which car seat do you want to ride in?  What color should your bath be today? (as long as the answer isn't brown- see earlier post).

So, in order to help them in their quest to choose favorites, every night Jackson gets to choose which jammies he will wear.  Dinosaurs or tractors?  Monkeys or Yo Gabba Gabba?  Tonight Jackson was intent on wearing his Lightning McQueen jammies.  The problem is that they are short sleeved.  But we wanted to honor his request, so this was the result:
That would be his short-sleeved Lightning McQueen shirt on top of his zip-up Monkey jammies.  (But he wanted his sleeves pushed UP).  He'll be sleeping good tonight.

Sweet dreams.
