i love crafts.
so does bella.
for a long time, doing crafts with her was, well.... more work than fun.
and usually the set up and clean up lasted a lot longer than the activity itself.
still worth it, just harder.
now that she's 3, lots of things are easier.
getting dressed, buckling herself in her car seat, and eating yogurt without wearing it... sometimes.
she's also becoming a great little artist.
i've been spending time looking for fun summer projects that are easy enough for little kiddos.
i started with this one... it was super fun, easy, and not too messy :)
Froot Loop Necklaces!
(or, if you are cheap frugal like me, the food-for-less-brand, tootie frooties)
all you need is some yarn, tape, and froot loops.
i taped the end of the yarn so it wouldn't fray when she threaded them on.
stringing the cereal takes a lot of concentration!
so fun!
even charlotte wanted in on it.
okay... she just wanted to eat them :)
"no, charlotte!"
back to work
so proud.
she even gave the camera a real smile.. not so easy these days :)
ta-da!
but.... the best part of making these is eating them!
we had lots of fun this morning.
looking forward to more summertime crafts.
what fun things are you doing at home this summer?
