school ended last friday, which means....
jackson's home!
since he turned 3 and started his IEP, the preschool programs provided for him are every day.
wonderful, amazing classes that have helped him blossom, grow, and develop.
but....
sometimes it's hard to have your little guy gone so much.

jackson's last day of preschool i don't think we can say enough how proud we are of this little guy. to think of where he was even a year ago... it's amazing. |
he has become quite the reader.
his little brain likes to memorize things.
so he just skips the whole 'sounding out' portion of reading and memorizes words.
a lot of words.
it amazes me to watch him pick up new books and just read them!
his sisters love to listen.
he has also decided all movies must be watched with subtitles.
i have no idea how that started.
he's a little genius with technology.
there is no remote he can't figure out.
he recently discovered the wii.
um.... obsessed.
it's crazy how he can quickly navigate a new game.
his favorites are Nickelodeon FIT and Just Dance Kids.
watching him dance is the cutest.thing.ever.
he's excited summer is here because he loves the pool!
he's been a little nervous so far this summer, but i think he's getting his confidence back.
we went to wild water adventures the other day and he was in water heaven.
he is so sweet and snuggly.
he loves to have his back scratched and snuggle up.
makes me feel like he's still little.
but he's getting so big.
jackson is kind, gentle, and just stinkin' adorable.
right?!?!
life with jackson can be hard sometimes.
he gets lost in his own little world.
he doesn't always understand expectations.
communication can be difficult.
but when he smiles or laughs...
everything is perfect.
jackson.... i could listen to you sing all day long.
i could watch you dance every day.
you are the sweetest little boy i know.
you work so hard.
you bring joy to everyone you meet.
i don't know what next year and kindergarten has in store for us.
but i am thankful for this summer with my favorite little boy.
