grateful

today is a day to be reminded of all we have to be thankful for.

but i don't want to be thankful one day a year.

i want to live everyday,

seeing the beauty and blessings that surround me.

of course the greatest blessings in my life 

are these people.

days are busy.

life moves fast.

it's easy to forget how lucky we are.

family, friends, homes, food, jobs....

everyday is a gift.

today, like everyday, i want to be grateful for all God has done for me.

i am not deserving,

but i am thankful.

give thanks to the Lord for he is good and his love endures forever

-psalm 106:1

today is extra special because we get to celebrate

my amazing husband's birthday.

there are no words to describe how much i love him,

and how grateful i feel everyday to be married to him.

i can't believe i've known him over 17 years...

God is good.
